Immigration Evaluations in Utah and Washington State

Telehealth serving clients throughout Washington State and Utah
Atlas Counseling & Wellness provides clinical mental health evaluations for immigration cases by telehealth for clients located anywhere in Washington State or Utah. Our evaluations are conducted in alignment with USCIS standards and are written for your attorney.
Attorneys may call this a psych eval or psychological evaluation. Our reports focus on how your lived experiences have impacted your mental health and your daily functioning.

Important Scope Clarification

The evaluations we provide are clinical mental health evaluations, not forensic psychological testing. We do not determine legal eligibility, credibility, or case outcomes. We do not provide legal advice. Our findings are limited to a clinical assessment of your symptoms, history, and functional impact to support the legal process.

About Our Evaluations

Evaluations are conducted by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), licensed in both Utah and Washington, with specialized training in immigration evaluations.

Reports are prepared to align with USCIS reporting standards and can be used for asylum, hardship waiver, cancellation of removal, VAWA, U visa, and T visa cases.

Case Types

Asylum

These evaluations document how past persecution or fear of future persecution has impacted your mental health and daily life, and how returning to your home country would affect you.

Hardship Waivers

These evaluations assess how your removal would cause extreme hardship to your qualifying relatives and how your situation may affects your mental health and ability to function.

VAWA

These evaluations provide clinical documentation of abuse and its impact for self-petitioners under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

U and T Visas

These evaluations document the emotional, physical, and psychological impact of crime or trafficking for U visa and T visa applications.
